Attorney Witherspoon

A native of Chicago's south side, J. Witherspoon witnessed both sides of the justice system and its ability to impact lives. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and later obtain her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School ( now UIC) in Chicago. 

​

Over the last 25 years, she has held an array of positions and sat on numerous boards centering around assisting others and improving their quality of life by utilizing her knowledge of the judicial system. ​

​

J. Witherspoon regularly attends training and seminars to ensure that she remains current on discrimination, employment, criminal, and civil law knowledge and practices.

Megan Moore

Director of  Legal Operations

Megan serves as the firm's Director of Operations, providing direct support to Attorney Witherspoon, managing client relations and conducting mediations. She previously has worked for various profit and non profit and social service organizations.

 

Mrs. Moore holds a Master's Degree in Business Management along with certifications in Human Resource Management, Conflict Resolution, Organizational Development and Mediation.

She is a wife and mother that enjoys traveling, reading and volunteering.

Chantal Moody

Litigation Coordinator 

Chantal serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the firm, providing support to Mrs. Moore & Attorney Witherspoon through assisting in client relations, marketing and community engagement.

 

Ms.Moody is an advocate for social justice and philanthropy. 

 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Grand Canyon University and is currently studying for the LSAT. 

​

She enjoys singing, reading and fine dining.
